Why do wireless Vigor routers have 2 aerials?
Why do wireless Vigor routers have 2 aerials?
Solution
The antenna attached near to the power switch is 'Main antenna' which can receive and send signal, while the other is 'Auxiliary antenna' which can only receive the signal.
The reason is for "Antenna Diversity", whereby the router monitors the signal from each antenna and automatically uses the one with the better signal.
If you change the antenna on this product to increase range, we suggest you should change both antennas.
